Painted on clayboard, the 18x24" panel has a playful moodiness. I chose to frame it in one of my favorite wooden profiles. I actually got to see this frame stock being crafted, from the gesso being applied to the hand leafing. The finished frame has a timeless elegance. 

No.1 & No.2 were created as one-of-a-kind interpretations. Each artwork is a section of my original painting, printed on canvas with archival inks then layers of paint are added with a final varnish. The mixed media originals allow me to focus in and play with nuances found in the original painting. I tried on several frames, but the thick and intricate ornate just seemed to be the perfect pairing. 

Both originals are 8x10" painted on clayboard. I generally like to paint large, making these small original offerings unique. I tried several frames on the pair and kept coming back to the thick ornate.
